Congrats to Mrs. Pessenda, Mrs. Yaroscak and the class of 2033!!
During the month of March, the 4th, 5th, & 6th grade students, participated in an Attendance Challenge. Every day the students showed up and stayed all day, earned their grade a point! Percentages were calculated weekly, and the grade with the best percentage earned extra time to shop at the Bluestreak Pride Store. At the end of three weeks, the grade with the most wins was declared the Attendance Champions and earned a Bluestreak Pride ticket worth 10 tickets; their teachers received a certificate to display.
This challenge was to encourage regular attendance. It teaches students the importance of commitment and accountability for their education. Turning attendance into a friendly competition can make school more enjoyable and engaging for students. Challenges can promote teamwork and camaraderie among students, teachers, and all staff, creating a sense of belonging. All students did an excellent job engaging themselves and their peers in March.
Week 3: 3/24-3/27, FINAL RESULTS:
Third place: 5th grade at 88.9%
Second place: 6th grade at 92.2%
First place: 4th grade at 94.5%
Keep it up Bluestreaks!! #BluestreakLeaders
