Recently, the First-Graders at Vaughan-Steffensrud celebrated 120 days of school! Activities, which all support the first-grade standard of reading and writing numbers to 120, included counting 120 objects, then grouping them by 2s, 5's and 10s, art projects featuring 120 ice cream sprinkles or 120 gumballs, and creating a special treat - 120th Day Trail Mix!
