We are in search of a dedicated Check & Connect Mentor to provide individualized attendance, academic, and behavior support to a defined caseload of students. The Check & Connect Mentor will review data, create, and implement 1:1 or small group interventions designed to promote academic achievement, increase attendance, reduce inappropriate behaviors, and decrease school suspensions. In addition, Check & Connect Mentors are responsible for frequently collecting, documenting, and analyzing data for their caseload students. Bluestreak Sweet Treats reached their business goal of being able to take a field trip to Glensheen Mansion and go out for a three course meal at a restaurant started by another entrepreneur! A great time was had by all!

Our 5th/6th grade students who participate in the Northern Area Gifted & Talented math class got to attend a field trip at Mt. Iron-Buhl last week with all the other gifted students in the area. Students competed in fun math games at the "Math Olympics". During the games, students were expected to calculate their scores using many different math skills and calculations. Some of the games included bowling, speed shape sorting, high jump, & long jump.

A big thank you to all the out-of-sight cool cats and dreamboats for shaking a leg at the Sock Hop! 💃 🕺 We appreciate everyone who made the Community Education Sock Hop possible. 💙 🤗 ❤️

Favorite high school memory: Making YouTube videos with my friends. 🎓 Rian Vajdl Future plans: To be happy:) Favorite high school memory: My favorite high school memory is getting the honor of being a Chisholm BlueStreak, especially during this stage of life called high school: Spending time with some of the most important people in my life, including the teachers who made high school worth it and better for some of us who dreaded going; participating in themed sports games, homecoming + the dances, inside jokes with the whole grade, the times where we’d breakout into song and sing “Country Roads, Take Me Home” or “I Want It That Way”, getting to be apart of the student section while it lasted (RIP), and getting to see all of us grow up. Favorite high school memory: I think my favorite high school memory is the kickball game we had at the end of the 20-21 school year and getting comically sunburned. Our class won, of course. 🎓 Kayla Warner Future plans: Getting a certificate in graphic design and then finishing my bachelors in marketing, hopefully along with travel.
