Junior, Trinity Gallagher as been selected for The College of St. Scholastica Art Mural Intensive Award. Photographed with one of her murals here. Chisholm High School has had a long tradition of creating public murals that decorate the hallways of our historic high school. Trinity is a dedicated artist that works consistently hard everyday on her body of work.
The College of St. Scholastica’s Fine Arts Department will be hosting a five day mural intensive, where they will be bringing together the best and the brightest high school students in the Arrowhead Region.
This opportunity will allow Trinity to work on a collaborative public mural alongside artists and past graduates of CSS, teaching them the process of public art creation from ideation to completion.

CHS Student and Staff of the Week
Mr. Lewis – Nominated by Nova Hofstad
Mr. Lewis is one of the track coaches (for shot put) and always does his best to help other students, even in the hallways, he will greet you with a smile on his face everyday. In track Mr. Lewis always finds a way to somehow make other students feel better when they're feeling upset, and tries his hardest to make people laugh with jokes, even if they aren't always funny, Congratulations, and thank you Mr. Lewis!
MATH SCHOLARS
Jacob Chambers – Nominated by Mrs. Yuretich
Jacob works hard in class, always striving to master the material. He contributes well to class discussion and is always willing to take risks, sharing his ideas with the class. He possesses the problem-solving skills required to succeed in advanced topics. Jacob works well with others and is always willing to help his classmates. Jacob, keep up the good work!
Isaac Fleming – Nominated by Mr. Milani
Having math the last hour of the day, Isaac has missed time this quarter with all of the activities he is in, but he remains positive and is working hard to stay caught up. I appreciate your attitude each day and keep working to get caught up!
Caleb Masucci – Nominated by Mr. Nelson
Even though it is the end of the school year, Caleb has still shown consistent effort and his grades in all classes are very good because of this continued effort. Caleb definitely deserves math scholar of the week for his in-class participation and staying focused through to the end of the year. Keep up the good work, Caleb!
