Join the Cross Country Runners for a very special fundraiser event next Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at 7:00pm. We hope to see you there and help our cross country runners raise some funds.

Today, our students participated with the American Indian education programs in a rich cultural lesson about the traditional teachings offered by the native animals of Minnesota. This immersive experience was presented through an Ojibwe perspective, beautifully weaving together language and natural wisdom.
As students learned about the unique lessons and gifts each animal provides—such as the wolf's guidance on family or the bear's teachings on strength—they also learned the corresponding Ojibwe names. The session was made especially tangible and memorable by allowing students to handle real animal pelts. This hands-on connection fostered a deeper understanding and instilled a profound sense of respect for each creature.

DIgging with Mrs. Paradis
These are photos taken from an activity in Mrs. Paradis' 6th grade social studies. We were trying our hand at archeological digs using chocolate chip cookies, a toothpick and grids. This was a lesson on ancient peoples in Minnesota and how they delayed a road work project on the south side of Mille Lacs Lake in 1989 when artifacts were discovered by the road crew.

He makes the class more engaging so people learn and remember things easier. He’s a funny guy. Ainslegh says Mr. Cerar does a very good job explaining assignments to us. He is also a lot of fun.
Isabella Martin (not pictured) - Nominated by Mrs. Wopata
Bella has been a consistently hard working student. I have had her in class for 3 years now and have seen a lot of growth in terms of work ethic. What I appreciate about Bella the most is her positivity and friendly disposition. I have seen nothing but a good attitude from Bella despite any challenge and can count on her to follow directions, listen, and be respectful. I am grateful to have you in class!
Tessa Daley - Nominated by Mrs. Yuretich
We are just a few weeks into the school year, but Tessa is off to a great start! She works hard in class and is doing all the right things in terms of study skills and good habits. Tessa, keep up the good work - I am proud of you!
