Students and Staff of the Week (from last week)
Mrs. Barabe – Nominated by Chloe Antonutti
I nominate Sam Barabe because she helps everyone every day with anything they need. If you ask her, she will try her best even if she doesn't know what it is. Thank you for everything you do Sam.
MATH SCHOLARS
Breena Dragony – Nominated by Mr. Nelson
Breena has consistently done her work throughout the year so far and participated in class discussions. She frequently asks questions and can be found helping others during individual work time. It's because of these efforts that she has deservedly earned math scholar of the week. Keep up the great work, Breena!
Thomas Aldrich – Nominated by Mrs. Yuretich
I nominate Thomas as a Math Scholar as he has worked hard all year in geometry. He works to understand the material fully. Thomas participates well in class discussion, and uses his independent work time well, both to practice and to help others. When something is difficult, he perseveres. When needed, he asks for help or clarification. When absent from class, Thomas does the work necessary upon returning to make sure he stays on track with the missed material. Thomas, keep up the good work!
Trenton Jungwirth – Nominated by Mr. Milani
Trenton has been doing a great job in math. He is attentive, works hard, and asks questions. He is doing a great job of balancing his schoolwork with a busy basketball season. Keep it up, Trenton.

Mrs. Stish's class learned about Martin Luther King Jr!
MLK Life Lessons 1/21/25
On Tuesday we celebrated Martin Luther King Day. We learned that we are just like M&M's...even though our skin reflects all different beautiful shades, our insides are all the same.
"Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?'". Martin Luther King Jr.

Keep track of attendance patterns. Set goals for improvement if necessary.
Foster open communication between students, parents, and teachers to address any concerns about attendance. Connect through a meeting, phone call, text, or email.
