Solomiia, one of Ms. Falcone's 2nd grade students is from the Ukraine. She wrote my name "Ms. Falcone" in Ukrainian. Solomiia's name in Ukraine means peace. Her favorite flower is a sunflower which also means peace.

3rd Graders went on their annual field trip to the Library. They were able to get a tour, listen to some stories, do a craft, check out books, and get a library card. We love our Chisholm Public Library! ❤️💙
PICTURE RETAKE DAY Picture Retake Day at the High School is on October 25th If you did not have your picture taken yet this year, Please do so, even if you are not buying them. Anyone wanting retakes, needs to bring back their picture packets from the first time. RETAKES WILL BEGIN AT 8:15am / Photographer will be at the school until approx. 11:00am
Mrs. Schmitz class enjoyed learning from Pepito how to ignore distractions. Now, he helps us remember to keep trying when things get hard. We drew Pepito
and used positive self-talk to continue trying our best. Things may
get tough, but we are tougher! 💪

Retake Picture Day is 10/27/22! If you're satisfied with your child's picture, no further action is required.
If you purchased and were unhappy with your Picture Package, please send your Picture Package to school with your student on Retake Day. Your Retake Picture Package will be produced and shipped to the school four weeks after Retake Day. Please note, if your child is photographed on the original and Retake Picture Days, the Retake picture will replace the original picture in certain products, like the yearbook.

Olivia and Destiny placed 9th and 11th respectively in the girl's Varsity race. Jasper placed 10th in junior high boys.

Jolene and Amya are two of the hardest working students that I have ever met. They are involved with everything, filled with Bluestreak Pride, attends all the events, and manage to keep all their grades up. They help me with anything that I need as TA's for me and they are taking the lead when it comes to building an amazing Yearbook this year. I wouldn't be able to do everything that I do without the help of Jolene and Amya. They are truly filled with Bluestreak Pride. Thanks for all you do ladies.

With our partners, we are working to inform families they can access federal funds through the Child Tax Credit. Deadline is November 15, 2022.
Families with no income or low income could get at least $3,000 per child with the Child Tax Credit, plus $1,400 with the third stimulus payment - even if they have never filed taxes before and if they have not filed taxes this year. It is estimated that more than 33,000 children in Minnesota could miss out on this money if their parent/guardian has not filed.
