This year the students at the CE are being introduced to the "7 Habits" framework which helps develop leadership skills, and promotes social and academic growth . The month of September was focused on Habit #1: Be Proactive. Students receiving a Habit Hero Certificate were recognized for being responsible, taking initiative, following directions, doing the right thing, and having positive attitudes and actions. Targeted Services is an after-school program available to students in 7th and 8th grade. Targeted Services meets on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 3:20-4:00pm. Students can receive help with homework as well as support with organizational skills, planner use, note-taking, and other study strategies. Interested students can see Mrs. Yuretich or the high school office for a permission slip to get started. Parents/guardians with questions can contact Mrs. Yuretich at ext. 3207.
