Educators can use attendance to assess how well they are doing with engaging families & their children. Absences drop when families understand what their children are learning while also feeling welcome & supported. Have you talked with your student's teachers? Have they reached out to you? Schedule a phone call, email, or text to see how your student progresses this year. Building strong, trusting relationships that promote a feeling of belonging is fundamental to improving student attendance & engagement.

Congratulations Chisholm on making the 100 Club last year with blood donations! Let's keep it up this year. There are currently 6 spots left on the bus Wednesday the 16th, let's fill the bus!

Chisholm High School Students and Staff of the Week:
Mr. Boehm – Nominated by Sonya Hannine
Mister Boehm always has an amazing attitude with his students even when we are particularly difficult. He’s always finding a new way to get his point across when teaching. Sometimes even participating in our shenanigans. Thank you for always being a positive person.
Greta Nelson – Nominated by Mrs. Yuretich
I nominate Greta for student of the week because she works hard in geometry. She participates in class enthusiastically, works with classmates and myself during class to get her work done, and puts in extra time when necessary to makes sure she is understanding the material well. Greta, keep up the good work!
Benjamin Hanson (not pictured)– Nominated by Mr. Cerar
What's impressed me with Ben in US History is his curiosity. He asks thoughtful questions during our class discussions, and he works hard to understand new topics. It's clear to me that he's a bright kid. I look forward to seeing him in class everyday.

The Student Council raised $140.00 for the Angel Fund prizes at Valentini's Pink Night! We will be accepting cash donations this week to add to the cause. Thank you to all who participated!!!!

The SR-3 Day class was so excited to meet the firefighters and climb into the fire truck. Thank you Chisholm Fire Department for taking time to come and talk about fire safety to our class!

Attention High School Students!

Students at the Vaughan got to see Chisholm’s new fire truck and learn about fire safety from the Chisholm Fire Department. Thank you for all that you do protecting our town!

Homecoming fun at the Chisholm Elementary this week! #GoBluestreaks!

Yesterday was National Custodian Day, and this group of 6th grade students wrote notes of appreciation for our wonderful custodian. Miss Lindzee was touched by how kind and thoughtful the students' notes were. Our entire CE building - from staff to students - would like Miss Lindzee to know that we echo the sentiments of these students. We are grateful for the countless ways she takes care of the building, our needs, and the students; plus her quick responses to the S.O.S. texts and calls she regularly receives. Thank you, Lindzee! You are appreciated. #BluestreakLeader
