We are excited to bring Activity Nights to Chisholm for Adults with Disabilities! Mark you calendar for the upcoming dates. The first one will take place next week - Wednesday, November 6th.

Students and Staff of the Week at the High School from last week: Ms. Martin – Nominated by Graceson Coward She's funny and knows how to make class fun and inclusive. She's always ready to help and knows when to get you back on track. She keeps the class fun but still helps you understand the material that's being taught. I'm glad she's here. Daniel Fosso – Nominated by Mrs. Purdy Daniel is always ready for class and completes all of his work on time. Most of all, he is always smiling and that brightens my day! Tim Urdahl – Nominated by Mr. Nelson Tim has taken on two math classes this year, including one for college credit, and is doing well in both courses. He manages his time wisely; getting assignments done right away and is also very respectful in class. Tim is also doing well in his other courses this year. Keep up the good work, Tim! Lucy Tisdell – Nominated by Mrs. Williams Lucy has been working really hard this quarter. She helps her peers when they have questions, participates, and turns in her work on time. Is amazing have her energy and enthusiasm in class. Keep up the good work Lucy and congrats.

Good luck to our cross country runners at their section meet today! Boys run at 12 noon and girls start at 12:50 at the Eagle Ridge Golf Course.

Come Support the Girls VB Team as they host the Northeast Range Nighthawks tomorrow night (Wednesday) at home with a 6:00pm start time! The theme is Pajama Day (school appropriate). This is a postseason game so CHS Season Passes are NOT accepted. Cost is $10.00 Adults, $5.00 Students Because this is a Region event, there will be no Livestream. #bluestreaksvolleyball

Ms. Falcone’s class has been working on story problems in 2nd grade. These girls went above and beyond after their assignment to create their own word problem and showing how they solved it. Way to go girls!

When a student misses so many days they are chronically absent (10% or more days), it means the lack of engagement in learning is an ongoing problem that needs to be addressed. Addressing chronic absences is a key component of improving graduation rates, increasing academic achievement & giving young people a good chance for success in their adult life.
