Congratulations to our Students and Staff of the Week from last week. Mr. Boehm “Sr.” – Nominated by Pace Yukich Mr. Boehm Sr. is the "Custodial King" who reigns over cleanliness and awesomeness at our school. With his superpowers of tidiness and a mega mop, he keeps our hallways sparkling and our spirits high. Nominating him for Staff of the Week is a no-brainer because he's simply the coolest custodian around. Grace Majewski & Trinity Gallagher (not pictured) – Nominated by Ms.Olson The impressive quality that both Grace and Trinity possess and demonstrate in the classroom is conscientiousness. They both approach their classwork with an intense desire to understand it, and they persevere until they do. Thank you, Trinity and Grace, for the thoughtful and creative students you are! Oliver Dahl – Nominated by Mr. Nelson Oliver's skills in math are not going unnoticed this year. Oliver is an active participant in daily discussions and also asks really good questions proving that he is thinking outside-the-box. During individual work time, Oliver continues to be engaged by helping others and also continuing to question the topics being covered. Keep asking those thought provoking questions and you will continue to succeed, Oliver!

Chisholm Community Education was awarded two separate grants to be used to purchase wrestling mats. Generous awards from the Chisholm Community Foundation ($1000) and the Chisholm Public School Foundation ($1100) provided enough funds to purchase two new mats. These mats made their debut on Monday, Nov. 27th when the Elementary Wrestling Club held it's first practice of the year. Not only do they look sharp and roll up easily for storage, but they also allowed space for additional students to join Wrestling this year! We are grateful for the generosity of both Foundations, as well as the people who support them! It is exciting to have the Elementary Wrestling program growing in size and interest. Many thanks and much appreciation to the CCF and CPSF for the substantial role they have played in helping the program continue to thrive. Thank you Kristen Copp for the photos and to David Copp for his dedication in coaching the young wrestlers.
