Community Engagement Meeting

I would like to thank once again those who were able to attend our first engagement meeting last month as we discussed our district needs and comprehensive planning process.

Since our last community meeting, the Chisholm School board and community planning task force have both separately and together spent time analyzing assessment data, stakeholder feedback and preliminary options for a potential operating and bond election on November 8, 2022.

It’s important before moving forward that we take an opportunity to share both our assessment findings and preliminary options with you for feedback as we work together to find the best solution for our district and as such, would like to invite you to attend our 2nd engagement meeting on April 20th from 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m., at Valentini’s Supper Club for this important conversation.  A meal with be served and daycare will be provided.

The agenda will include a detailed discussion lead by district leaders, our consultants and financial advisor on our educational adequacy and building infrastructure findings, our operating needs, preliminary project options and financial impact of those options.  We will have a significant amount of information to share and discuss so please come prepared to both listen and share your thoughts.

If you are planning to attend, please RSVP to Lisa Aldrich at laldrich@chisholm.k12.mn.us , by Monday, April 18th, as we need an accurate count for dinner.

As always, please contact me directly via phone or email at any time with any questions. Otherwise, I look forward to seeing you on the 20th!

Thank you for your support of our schools!
