Hello, both past and current Blue Streaks! My name is Janey Blanchard, and I am honored to be the Superintendent of the Chisholm Public Schools. I am planning on a long streak of serving as Superintendent of this great school district.

I completed my high school years in Mooresville, Indiana, home of the Indiana State Flag. From Mooresville I traveled to Ellendale, ND and earned an Associates of Arts Degree from Trinity Bible College. After a few years in Minneapolis, my husband and I moved to the Grand Forks Area where I completed my Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education with an emphasis in reading from the University of North Dakota. From there we traveled to Ashland, OH where I earned my Master’s of Science Degree in education with an emphasis in special education. We traveled back to the northland, where I pursued my administration and doctoral degrees from Saint Mary’s University in Minneapolis. During all the moves I have worked in education for over 32 years. I have been an upper elementary teacher, E/BD teacher, a Pre K-12 principal, and I was also an adjunct professor for Saint Mary’s University and now a superintendent.

I am excited to be here at the famous home of the Blue Streaks. It is my goal to keep Chisholm a great district, with a sound financial status. It is exciting to be in a community where the school is the heart of the community, and to see the proud former graduates of Chisholm and the Balkan residents support their school, their children and the staff. I look forward to meeting all of you. Thank you for your support.
