What Homework?

Parents are encouraged to view their child's planner nightly for assignments, late/missing work, notes from teachers, and upcoming events. Please check and sign your child's planner each day.

Most important things to do nightly:
READ: AR testing can be done as needed/ Read 15-30 min. a night
MATH FACTS: +, - Multiplication and Division get introduced soon
MATH REAL WORLD ACTIVITIES: $, time, fractions, measurement

WEEKLY:You’ll receive a Reading Packet that contains a Spelling List, Family Activity and a Book to read. Students should write spelling words 2 times each day -- 8 for the week on seperate paper. This is Booklet due by Friday.

Math Family Involvement Activity packet with each new math Unit. Some take more than one week to complete, So, be on the look out. It will also be due on the following Friday.

The only other homework you may see is unfinished work from the day. Be sure to communicate with your child about our daily activities. The more you talk the more they learn!
