Coach Steinberg has been the Varsity Assistant Baseball Coach at Chisholm High School for the past 13 years. He coaches the junior high program along with working directly with the varsity pitchers.

Coach Steinberg's understanding and knowledge of pitching mechanics from his days at Saint Scholastica have laid a strong foundation for successful Bluestreak hurlers since his arrival in 2005.

Coach Steinberg graduated from Greenway High School and played baseball for the Raiders. He played his college baseball at the College of Saint Scholastica under John Baggs. Coach Baggs is one of the most demanding and respected leaders of Minnesota College Baseball the past 2 decades. He has been awarded National Coach of the Year honors multiple times during his tenure at St.Scholastica. In February of 2009, Coach Baggs lost his life to cancer at the age of 42. His character & coaching abilities will always continue to be passed on at Chisholm through Coach Steinberg. In the fall of 2013, Mr.Steinberg was inducted into the Saint Scholastica athletics hall of fame.
