   ADULTS:

 

Defensive Driving (4 hour Refresher / 8 hour Certify ) with Peter Goman

Tuesday October 3rd and Wednesday October 4th  – Vaughan Steffnesrud School – 5:30-9:30p.m. - $14.00

** Peter Goman will be offering both a refresher and a certify class on January 25th.

So whether you need to renew your certificate or you would like to start receiving a discount on

Your insurance, now is the time to take the class. 

Potica Making with Cindy Rice

 

Saturday – October 28th – Sr. High Home Ec. Room – Starts at 9:00am - $20.00 plus supply list

before the holidays, the easy way!!  Gather your supplies, and join Cindy on the 28th,

for a chance to learn to make Potica, and go home with your holiday treat already made.   Class is limited

to 6, so please register early to get you spot.

 

Aqua Zumba Exercise for Adults with Angela Tresemer

Beginng September 22nd and running through until May, you can jump into the pool on Friday nights with

Angela and get the blend of high energy Zumba moves with low impact aqua fitness.  Cost is $6.00 per class,

And $25.00 for 6.   Classes are held at the Range Center Pool at 5:15p.m.  Take one class, or take them

All winter long….  ( Angela also offers regular Zumba classes at the Range Center Gym on Monday Nights. )

 

Learn to Walk / Run a 5K with Cindy Rice

Beginning on October 9th for 6 weeks – Meet at the Vaughan School – 4:00pm. - $20.00 per runner

Put on those running shoes, and get yourself ready to do a walk/run training program that will get

You ready to run in the Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving.  Participants will work their way up each week

To Turkey Trot Time. The first night will be on Monday, October 9th, and then you will meet each Tuesday and

Thursday to do the runs.  Running will be done outside if weather is good, inside if it is raining.  Whether you

Plan on running the Turkey Trot, or not, this is a great way to get moving!!

 

Step Aerobics with Danielle Zubich

Tuesdays October 17-24 November 7-14-21-28  - Vaughan Gym – 3:30-4:3-p.m. - $10.00

Before the weather turns cold and you slip into the winter mood, join Danielle for an hour of Stair Stepping

Aerobics to keep you moving.  Class will consist of a warm up, aerobic stepping and cool down.  Wear comfortable

Clothing.

Toxins out of your home.  Anna will walk you through simple, affordable tactics that anyone can do with Essential

Oils. Learn the many oils and all of their uses.  Each participants will go home with something made from the oils.

 

Crochet with Judy for Everyone

Monday nights – October 16-23-30 November 6-13-20 -  Vaughan School – 6-8:30p.m. - $30.00

Participants will work on a special new project picked by the instructor or bring your projects from home and

Judy will help with any questions.  Everyone welcome, even if you have never crocheted.  Judy will teach you!

Students who are at least 10 can come to the class with a parent and learn to crochet too….

 ART AND ARTIST with Nancy and Amy Lucas on Early Days Out for grades k-3

  Early Out Wedensdays – November 15-22-29 – Vaughan Gym – 1:45-3:15pm - $18.00

  Students will stay at the school on the Early Out and take a look at 3 different artists and their choices

   of media.  Students will try their hands at Chalk, Pastels Watercolors and sculpting.  All supplies and a

  snack will be provided.

 

ART AND ARTIST with Nancy and Amy Lucas on Early Days Out for grades 4-8

Early Out Wednesdays – Oct. 25 & Nov. 1 – Elementary School Old Woods Room – 2:00-4:00pm - $14.00

Young artists will join Amy and Nancy to explore 2 different artists and their choices of media.  They will use

Watercolor and air-dry clay to create their own masterpieces.  All supplies and snack included.

 

Rocks, Rocks grades K-3 with Mrs. Lamphere

Thursday October 12th – 3-4p.m. – VS Gym - $5.00

** Students in grades k-3 will Listen and Learn fun facts about rocks.  Then, they will get the chance to

create their own special rock to take home.  Students can bring a rock from home to paint, or pick one

 from those the teacher has.  Rocks from home should be washed and dried.  All supplies and a snack included.

 

Leaves! Leaves! Grades 2 & 3 with Mrs. Pessenda

Thursday – October 26th – VS Classroom – 3-4 p.m - $6.00

*Students in grades 2 & 3 will stay after school and find out just why leaves change color.  What cool

things you can do with leaves.  Students will have a fall snack and make a craft. All supplies included.

 

Why Leaves Turn Color Grades K-1 with Mrs. Anderson

Thursday – October 26th – VS Classroom – 3-4 p.m. - $6.00

** Learn fun facts about leaves and why they change their colors.  Students will listen to a story, have

a snack and do a fun fall craft.

 

Turkey Trouble grades 1& 2 with Mrs. Anderson

Thursday – November 16th – VS Classroom – 3-4p.m. - $6.00

Just what kind of trouble can a turkey get himself into??  Students will listen to this cute Thanksgiving

Story, have a snack and make a turkey to decorate you house for Thanksgiving. 

 

  Halloween Cookies grades k-3 with Kathy and Mary Jo

 Monday – October 30th – Vaughan Gym – 3-4p.m. - $8.00

 ** Students in grades k-3 will get to stay after school and listen to a cute story Then, they will have a small         snack and decorate cookies to bring home .

 

Thanksgiving Cookie Decorating grades K-3 with Kathy and Mary Jo

Monday – November 20st – VS Gym – 3-3:45p.m. - $8.00

** See what kind of trouble that turkey can get into, when you listen to this cute Thanksgiving

story.  Then students will have a snack and decorate cookies for you Thankgiving table.
